Billy Paynter

With more than 100 career league goals to his name, Billy has been a prolific striker over the years. Since making his debut for Port Vale in 2000 at the age of just 16, the Liverpudlian has played for a further ten clubs throughout the English Football League. After hitting double figures in successive seasons, he earned a £150,000 move to Championship side Hull City.

In 2007 Billy joined Swindon Town where he scored a career-best 29 goals in 2009-10, including 26 in the league as he struck up a formidable partnership with Charlie Austin. He then spent two seasons at Leeds United before further moves to Doncaster Rovers, Carlisle United and Hartlepool United, where he hit 15 goals.
