Hayden is a young tenacious central midfielder who has already made his debut for Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup this season against Burton Albion where he scored the only goal after coming on as a substitute late in the game. Hayden reached the U18 Premier League cup final this season but narrowly lost 1-0 to a strong Manchester City side.
