Jerome Thomas

Flying winger Jerome has spent much of his career up against some of the world’s best full-backs in the Premier League.

The former England Under-21 international started off as a youngster at Arsenal, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp, before joining Charlton Athletic in 2004.

After more than 100 appearances for the Addicks, mainly in the top flight, Jerome moved to Portsmouth on a permanent basis in 2008.

He signed for West Bromwich Albion in 2009 and helped the club achieve promotion to the Premier League in 2010. Jerome’s impressive Baggies’ spell included a winning goal against former club Arsenal at the Emirates.

The experienced pro was back in the Premier League in 2013 when he linked up with Ian Holloway at Crystal Palace.

Jerome dropped down to the Championship in 2016 to help Rotherham United pull of a remarkable great escape to avoid relegation to League One.

He then spent a season with Port Vale before leaving the club in 2017.
