Tony McMahon joins Scunthorpe United
Big news for Tony McMahon who has joined Scunthorpe United as 1st team coach along side Neil Cox. Well done Macca and good luck in your new coaching position.

A product of Middlesbroughâs renowned Academy, Tony played for England at U16, U17 and U19 level and captained Boro to their first ever FA Youth Cup success in 2004. He caught the eye when he marked Ryan Giggs out of the game on his debut against Manchester United at the age of just 18.
After eight successful years with Boro, the right-back joined Sheffield United and has gone on to play for Blackpool and Bradford City. A dead ball expert, Tony scored six goals in each of the last two seasons for the Bantams, helping them reach the 2017 play-offs.
Tony Joined Oxford in August 2018. After limited appearances Tony has joined Scunthorpe United on loan for the remainder of the 2018/19 season. After a spell with Darlington in non league, Tony has now taken up a a role as first team coach at Scunthorpe United.
