Scottish international defender Gordon has enjoyed successful stints domestically in both Scotland and England. Gordon’s career began with Port Glasgow and Clyde and after a short stint with Blackburn Rovers, the no-nonsense defender moved back to his home country with Kilmarnock, where he made more than 100 appearances.
Following spells with Swindon Town and Doncaster Rovers, he went on to spend six highly successful years with Brighton and Hove Albion, captaining the club and helping them win the League One title and being named in the PFA Team of the Year. He made well over 200 appearances for the Seagulls before joining Blackburn for a second time in 2016. He returned to Kilmarnock in summer 2017 at the age of 36.
I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy a long career in both England and Scotland and I’m still enjoying my football as much as I ever did. Over the years you learn who you can and can’t trust in the game. SMI are not only very good at what they do, but they’re also the kind of people you know you can rely on whenever you need them.
