Midfielder Joe came through the youth system at Bristol City and went on to make more than 150 appearances and captain the club.
He also represented Wycombe Wanderers, Northampton Town and Oxford United with distinction and ended his league career at Exeter City.
After being released by the Grecians Joe joined Conference side Bath City, where he became a club legend over four seasons as he made more than 100 appearances.
He is now SMI’s man in the south-west of the country.
I first met Lee Matthews when we played together at Bristol City and it was no surprise to me when he became an agent after hanging up his boots.
