Joel Dixon joins Bolton Wanderers

Goalkeeper Joel began his career with Sunderland and enjoyed first team action during loan spells with Workington, Hartlepool, Boston United and Gateshead.
He joined Barrow in the summer of 2015 and was named in the England “C” squad in September of that year.
He suffered a serious knee injury during a game against Guiseley in November 2016 but is now back in first team action and signed a contract extension in October 2017. After more than 200 games for Barrow, Joel joined Bolton in June 2021.
