Goalscoring midfielder Peter was an Academy product of Scottish giants Rangers.
Peter joined Kilmarnock without ever making an appearance for the Gers due to a serious knee injury that cruelly ruled him out for two years.
The all-action midfielder spent three seasons as a regular in the Scottish top flight before moving to England with Chesterfield and then signing for MK Dons in 2008.
After more than 100 appearances and 22 League One goals for the Dons, Peter enjoyed two further seasons with Oxford United and retired in 2013.
