Like his close friend Lee, Mark was a talented footballer who always had one eye on a future in the game after his playing days were over. 

A versatile defender, he started out in the Hull City youth system and although he was released, he went on to enjoy a successful semi-professional career. 

Mark passed his agent’s examination with flying colours in 2005 and gained a wealth of experience before going into partnership with Lee to form Sports Management International in 2009.

He is now a registered Football Association intermediary and has helped broker deals worth millions of pounds. 

Mark’s skills include handling contractual negotiations and helping with career planning and financial and wealth management.

“Football is the greatest game in the world but it’s important to remember that it’s the players that people pay their money to come and see, week in and week out,” he says.
