Dom Telford wins award

Congratulations Dom Telford who has won the Young Player of the season award at Bristol Rovers. 

Dom has sciored 5 goals in 23 appearances on loan from Stoke City and has also scored 12 goals in his last 5 games for the u23s. 

Great achievement that will help him in his development as a player and into next season.

Stewart Downing wins PFA award

Well done to Stewart Downing who has won the PFA Community player of the season award. The Middlesbrough winger has had another great season racking up over 600 career appearances and now showing all his hard work within the community does not go un missed and to be recognised for this is such a great thing for Stewart and everyone at Middlesbrough FC.

200 and Up for Ben Gibson

Well done Ben Gibson who has made his 200th appearance for Middlesborough today. 

A great way to mark his rise for the Boro where he has risen from the Academy to going on loan to coming back and becoming the heart of the defence.

FIFA Team of the season

Congratulations Robert Snodgrass of Aston Villa and Charlie Mulgrew of Blackburn Rovers who have both been selected in the EFL EA Sports FIFA18 Ultimate Team of the season.

Such a great achievement but greatly deserved after a great season for both players.

SMI Sign Maxi Tainio

Welcome to the SMI family Maxi Tainio. We are excited to announce the signing of highly rated Tottenham Hotspur and Finland youth International midfielder Maxi. Maxi signed for Spurs in July 2017 from HJK Helsinki and has made a big impression already with Spurs academy. He won Defender of the tournament this week in Italy where they finished 3rd. We are looking forward to helping Maxi in his career and want to welcome him aboard to our SMI family.

Dan Batty signs a new deal at Hull City

Congratulations Dan Batty who has signed a 2 year contract extension today with Hull City. After all the hard work and determination this season and a few appearances for the first team they have rewarded him with a new 2 year deal that will keep him with Hull until 2020. Well done Dan
