Snodgrass nominated for PFA player of the month

Congratulations to Robert Snodgrass who has been nominated for the PFA Bristol Street Motors Player of the month award for January. 

After 3 goals and 3 assists in his last 5 games, Snodgrass is back to his best. Both his goals and assists are helping Aston Villa with their promotion push back to the Premier League.

SMI sign Jon Taylor

SMI are excited to announce the signing of highly rated winger Jon Taylor of Rotherham United. 

Jon already at only the young age of 25 has amassed over 250 professional games under his belt.

Exciting lively, tricky winger also has an eye for goal and has over 40 career goals already.

George Smith signs for Chesterfield

Congratulations to George Smith who on transfer deadline day has signed for Chesterfield on a permanent transfer from Northampton Town.

George only signed for Northampton in the summer but has been ruled out recently with a few injures but has now started a new chapter in his career with Jack Lester's Chesterfield.

John Buckley signs 1st Pro contract

Congratulations to John Buckley who today has signed his first Professional contract with Blackburn Rovers FC.

Central midfielder John has impressed in his u18 matches and has regularly been called into the u23 squad. 

This will be the first of many for this exciting young player.

Lewis Wing scores his 1st League goal

Congratulations to Lewis Wing who today scored his first career League goal. 

He scored for Yeovil Town FC in a 2-1 defeat against Chesterfield. Lewis is currently on loan at Yeovil from Championship side Middlesbrough.

A goal to remember as well with a 25 yard curling effort that gave the keeper no chance at all. 

Well done Wingy hopefully the first of many to come.

Congratulations to Russell Martin who today has signed for Rangers FC on loan from Norwich City until the end of the season.

Nathan McGinley signs on loan at Wycombe

Congratulations to Middlesbrough defender Nathan McGinley who today has signed on loan for Wycombe Wanderers and will make his debut vs Colchester United. 

Nathan a is a youth product of Middlesbrough's academy and will now look to gain 1st team football experience at Wycombe. 

Nathan can play at left back and at centre back so will provide some versatility for his new club.
